Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” jumps from No. 4 to No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart (dated Sept. 11). He scores his third leader on the list, following “Shape of You” (six weeks at No. 1, 2017) and “I Don’t Care,” with Justin Bieber (three, 2019).
“Habits” — remixed by Joel Corry, Meduza and Kue, among others — is drawing core-dance airplay at leaders iHeartRadio’s Pride Radio, KQPS (Channel Q) Palm Springs, Calif., and KNHC (C89.5) Seattle, according to MRC Data. (The Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart measures radio airplay on a select group of full-time dance stations, along with plays during mix shows on nearly 80 top 40-formatted reporters.)
On the Billboard Hot 100, “Habits” ranks at No. 3 after two frames at its No. 2 best.
‘HIGH’ TIME: On the multi-metric Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, DJ Snake slithers to his ninth top 10 with “You Are My High” (12-8). The track tallied 3.3 million U.S. streams in the week ending Sept. 2, also good for a No. 7 start on Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs.
‘WEEKEND’ UPDATE: Becky Hill bows at No. 25 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums with Only Honest on the Weekend. Hill’s second chart entry, after Get to Know (No. 15, May 2020), begins with 1,700 equivalent album units.
Hill also debuts at No. 27 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs with the new set’s “My Heart Goes (La Di Da),” featuring Topic. Hill’s 11th appearance and Topic’s seventh arrives with 581,000 domestic streams.
The song joins Hill’s collaboration with David Guetta, “Remember” (also from the new album), up 20-18 after reaching No. 14 in July. “Remember” also debuts on Dance/Mix Show Airplay at No. 40.
