Last month I had the opportunity to visit nine European cities in Italy, Spain, and France. Each ranged in size, age, historical relevance, population, and culture. Upon returning home to Lebanon, I wondered what there is to learn from the examples of other cities and how those examples might be applied to Lebanon City?

The Harrisburg legislature is broken! We, the taxpayers, pay our legislators $21 Million in salary alone, not including vacation pay, health insurance, committee pay, per diems, office expenses and retirement and get almost nothing in the way of legislative return. In total, we are spending approximately $50 Million dollars annually for a handful of bills that are passed into law.

Recently, my home school district, Northern York, where all four of my children have been educated and to which my property taxes are paid, was faced with an outside organization seeking to host a club with a name that has no place in our public schools.
