The 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards honored the genre’s hottest emerging and established acts — but who brought the most heat with their performance?
Nelly made sure it was “Hot in Herre” when he brought a medley of his biggest hits, also including fellow Billboard Hot 100 No. 1s “Grillz” and “Dilemma.” Nelly also received the I Am Hip Hop award on Tuesday night’s telecast. According to Billboard’s ranking, Nigerian-American rapper Tobe Nwigen and his wife Fat truly brought the “Fye Fye” in their white-hot outfits and scored the best performance of the evening.
While Young Thug and Gunna got a YSL family reunion going, Baby Keem held it down without his cousin Kendrick Lamar when the pgLang MC scorched through their top 20 collaboration “Family Ties.”
